Cape Shore Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2007 by a group of friends from Maine. We feel fortunate to have grown up in a pristine environmental setting, and want to ensure that future generations are afforded the same opportunity.

Andrew Brownell - Treasurer
Andrew Brownell lives in Boston, MA and works as a Senior Consultant at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, a recruiting firm in downtown Boston. Andrew enjoys hiking and camping in the White Mountains and spending time on the coast of Maine. Andrew received his Bachelor’s Degree from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
Nick Owens - President
Nick lives in Concord, Massachusetts where he works as an associate at The NorthBridge Group a consulting firm serving the utility industry. He has been fortunate to visit a number of conservation areas throughout New England, and particularly enjoys hiking in the White Mountains and sailing off the coast of Maine.
Nick Richio - Vice President
Nick lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts and works as an associate for Partners Capital, an investment advisory firm in Downtown Boston. Nick graduated from Babson College in the spring of 2005. He grew up in Cape Elizabeth, Maine where he spent much of his time enjoying the outdoors with his family and friends. Currently, Nick prefers spending his time along the shores of New England.
Liz Schweihs - Secretary
Liz lives in Boston and is a structural engineer at Fay, Spofford and Thorndike. She is fortunate enough to have traveled to many of the State and National Parks across the Country, and particularly loves to camp and hike in the inspiring parks of New England. She also enjoys spending time each summer with her family in Narragansett, Rhode Island.
Tim Ervin - Director
Tim moved to California in August of 2008 after living in Brookline, Massachusetts for the previous 4 years. He is employed by CB Richard Ellis where he works as an assistant real estate manager for their Asset Services department. Tim is an avid fly fisherman who enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the western mountains of Maine. He received his bachelor's degree from Allegheny College in Environmental Science.
Jon Wakelin - Director
Jon is a graduate student at Northwestern University where he is studying business and law. He spends his summers sailing and camping in Penobscot Bay and also enjoys running and biking through New England's many parks.
